Tara Reid; More than just a bad boob job.

I heard today that the Girls Gone Wild creator, Joe Francis, commented about his fling with Tara Reid, if you can call it that.
He said that out of all the celebrity babes he hooked up with; Reid was the worst. (BURN!) Besides the worst boob job, "she was also accused of 'pretty much' just lying there under the sheets." (thehollywoodgossip.com)
Are you sure she didn't just pass out, Joe?
However, his rating system put Paris Hilton as the best hook up.
She probably paid him to say that.
Thumbs up, Joe, for spreading the word!
Thumbs down, Joe, for spreading the VD.
(he has the "valentine's day" spirit)

Videogames can actually be healthy!!!

Remember when videogames were blamed for everything? They motivate violence in the youth. They promote obesity. They glorify sex and killing. They make young boys social outcasts, locked in the basement with only Ritz crackers, a bucket and Pamela Anderson's poster. Well, now games are finally getting some good press.

IGN's report says:

"A recent study conducted by the International Sports Sciences Association into the health effects of videogame playing has turned up some surprising results regarding the future of so-called "exergaming." While in the past, authorities such as the ISSA might have blamed videogames for contributing to childhood obesity, high blood pressure, and Type II diabetes, the implementation of new technologies has the ISSA beaming."

The article continues, mentioning the release of Nintendo's Wii and popular games like Dance Dance Revolution are helping people shed pounds.

Now that I am lean, can my Wii help me get a girlfriend?

In addition to this report, IGN also recently reported on "Wii-Weights." Which are weighted wristbands that help build muscle strength while playing.

All-or-Nothing?

All-Star games. They are an assemblage of the greatest, the most talented, the best of the best of their generation, all playing in the same arena against each other at their respective sports. Sounds like a pretty epic concept. It sounds like a high-profile, grab my beer and glue my ass in front of the TV type of night.

Yeah, that's what it sounds like...but you know what it feels like?

It feels like a scam, a sham, and, I guess, a million other things that rhyme with jam.

Just the thought of any professional sports All-Star game is enough to send a shiver down the spine of any real sports purist.

All-Star games are a joke. I mean, you have a collection of some of the youngest millionaires on the planet doing their jobs at half speed with no emotion in front of the paying customer. Wow, now that's entertainment. That's epic.

Whether it's the All-Star games of Major League Baseball or the NBA, the NFL's Hawaiian disaster known as the Pro Bowl, or the NHL's amazingly irrelevant All-Star matchup, no one really cares - not the players and certainly not the fans - and for good reason.

For example, with the NBA All-Star game coming up, a fan wanting to see the most explosive offensive players on the planet trying to figure out the world's best defensive players should promptly put down the remote and search for a pillow. It's not going to happen, so start dreaming.

I'm sure a few third-grade girls basketball teams could dribble around the likes of Shaq and Lebron James in the NBA All-Star game.

Anyway, I understand that nobody wants to get hurt in an exhibition game, but that's no excuse for what these professional sports leagues try to pass off as a premier, showdown of their best stars. If pride means nothing, than don't even bother taking the field.

So what are my suggestions to fix the problem? Well, I'd recommend taking a giant red marker and scribbling out every All-Star game on the calendar for every American professional sports league. Just get rid of them.

Name an All-Star lineup and then let your players rest. They don't want to play. The fans don't care to watch these heartless athletic encounters. Forget about it.

Give us an All-Star showdown that means something, or give us nothing at all.

Sadly, there will be no giant red markers. These contests will continue to be shown and the leagues will make even more money off the fans with these pathetic showcases of wasted potential.

That being the case, my ultimate recommendation to any sports fan would be to grab a few friends, your dad, or your son or daughter, and head out into the backyard and play a few games yourself.

Play basketball. Throw around the football. Hell, play kickball if you want.

What? You're too lazy? Well, than how about surfing...a little channel surfing that is.

Do whatever you need to do, just don't watch the All-Star games. Flip the station and watch some old American Gladiator reruns if you have to. Trust me, you'll be more impressed watching some scrawny dude getting pelted in the face than you'll be while watching millionaires dunk their way onto some bogus highlight reel.

Wii Play Review

Have you played Wii Sports?

Millions of people have and it is a phenomenon. Wii Play should have really been free with the console as well. However, Nintendo wants me to pay $50 for this game. Well, guess what Nintendo...I am probably going to buy it because the Wii is just fun. However, I am totally going to trade in my Barbie's Horse Adventure game to get $2 off the price.

I am personally psyched for the Duck Hunt mini-game. I love shooting virtual ducks!!!

The IGN reviewer Matt Casamassina says the game is over too fast. Well, I can think of something else that I finish with quickly and others are left disappointed. However, I will never stop it because it is fun.

Go to the link below and peep all nine minigames. Oh yeah, if you buy a Wii, go and purchase Zelda!!!

Hot Crackdown on Craic action

If you own a Xbox 360 and are convulsing until you can get your hands on either Halo 3 or Grand Theft Auto IV, this game might be able to ease your gaming addiction.

Even though I have yet to play it, it does seem pretty friggin rad.

Crackdown will be released on Feb. 20. You will know when it is out when you see nerds bent over trying to hide their boners

Diddy Kong Racing DS Review

The Nintendo DS Lite is no doubt a success. Even though this game is a reiteration of something I played back when I was shorter and slightly less sexy, it is a great addition to Nintendo's pickup and play library of games.

Compared to the "stallion" known as Mario Kart DS, this game would be considered a "donkey." Sure you can ride a donkey and it is fun; however, eventually you will just punch out when the fun has passed.

The best feature has to be the airplanes and hovercrafts that seperate it from other racers. A plethora of Web sites break down the game and come to the smilar conclusion that it is pretty darn good. Check out the scores here and click on the links to read more.

I forgot one thing. Golly...Diddy Kong is simply adorable.
