It's not a snow Advisory

Advisory
Punk/Folk Rock/Indie
Portland, OR

"Above ground, bombs are bursting. Below ground, in Cell Block Eight, Advisory is creating music for bombs.
A grating guitar and vocal. Bass and drums of feeling and rhythm. An ethereal keyboard defining soul. A meditation on survival and chaos.
When the trenches are packed with 'duck and covers', and the scream of anarchy is biting at your essence, Advisory is making music for bombs. The explosions sound better."

This is a band I discovered when I lived in Portland last summer. The bassist, Emie Otis, among her many talents is a hair stylist. She cut my hair and gave me a rockin' do.
Miss Otis also made up her own clothing line, check it out, here is the myspace URL.

I love this video they made, it's not really new since I first viewed it in the summer, but it's still pretty tight.
